Christmas Shopping!! Need i say more! HA HA

Gingerbread Houses

Every year we have a family tradition of making gingerbread houses. This year Zach had gotten a train from his aunt and wanted to make that instead. I didn't get many pictures for some reason. My kids really love this! Preston did awesome on his own. After we take pictures with Grandma and Grandpa and then they have a gift for each of the kids, which is always some kind of ornament for the tree(didn't get pictures of those). Thanks Grandma and Grandpa - we always have fun.

Bienvenida Hermana Scott

My niece Whitni left for the MTC on Wednesday. We were able to enjoy lunch with her the day before and say goodbyes...again! Whitni will be an amazing missionary. She has the gift of touching hearts with her presence. She is honest and sincere and is down to earth and easy to talk to. I wish her the best and will miss her as I am sitting here crying as we speak. She won't be able to read this as she is in the MTC already(If I wouldn't wait so long to post my blogs) but she is the best! Everyone needs a Whitni!!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree.....

For those of you that know me well, know that I am VERY anal about my Christmas tree. Every year I do the lights, ribbon and beads and the kids can put on the decorations and then I go and fix what I need to. I know pretty insane!! This year however, we decided just to use the tree we have-not my most very favorite, and I thought I would let the kids decorate the ENTIRE tree by themselves. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I still wanted to go "fix" things, but I think I have mellowed in some ways. It was a treat to see them work together.

Turkey Day

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was quiet just our family and Karla. My boys have so much fun with her, although we missed Erin and Karrie!! The food was great and Karla played card games with them. Later we went up to my sisters and played this great card game Michol and Jamie found- Werewolves! What an awesome game! The only downfall you need at least eight people at a time to play. Thanks for inviting us guys!

These are the only pictures I have of Thanksgiving. I always seem to forget taking picture of the important things like the turkey that turned out perfect, family enjoying the food.... I mean "hello". However, I did get a picture of my cat. She thought she had died and gone to heaven!
